About Weddings
Yes, I love doing weddings (and I'm very good at it too)!
I have shot quite a few weddings now, and know what a special day it is for all concerned. I tend to go more for the reportage style than the posed family photos (although I will do these as well). Please have a look through the wedding section on this site to get a feel for my shooting style. For weddings, I normally bring an assistant/second shooter to make sure everything runs smoothly, and this is included in the rate.
Also, I am discreet. It's all about the bride and groom, not the photographer.
Wedding Package Rates
My rate is £550. This would normally involve arriving in the morning to have a good look around the venue and other locations, and then shooting the wedding according to instruction, ending with the reception and first dance. Photographing into the evening would be charged at an hourly rate. Travel outside the M25 and accommodation is extra.
Included in the above fee is 5 hours of retouching and post production (normally £30/hr). Anything more than this is charged at my regular rate.
Finally, one thing I do not do is retain possession of your negatives and charge you silly rates for priting/framing. You receive all the digital negatives on payment. Tip - if you are booking a photographer, ask if they do this. With a lot of wedding photographers, having an album printed can cost a fortune on top of everything else.
